I am a social scientist who has been actively engaged in the environmental economics and policy field for nearly 20 years. I have experience leading and supporting a wide-range of projects to build resilience to climate change and natural disasters, value and characterize the ecological and cultural importance of natural resources, and inform decision-making and communicate complex, technical information to a wide range of audiences.
My work is published in a dozen journal articles and book chapters, and over twenty technical reports. I have presented at multiple domestic and international conferences and have provided expert testimony.
I received my Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment and holds a B.A. in both Environmental Policy and Politics from University of California Santa Cruz. I am based in Crested Butte, Colorado.
